network managers think of RM SecureNet. Introduction The emails below have been reproduced without alteration. Comments on other suppliers have also been included. "I've just been passed a letter from Edexcel saying the BTCONNECT exam entries system has been discontinued from September and we should start to use something else. What's others experience? The exams officers seem to like being able to go to one place for all exam entries. So what are others experience of DIALNET, AVCO, RM for Exam Entries?" John
Lister "We have had a wonderful experience since switching from dialnet - who were awful - to RM. I can honestly say that with dialnet we had problems nearly every day, and with the RM product we have not had a single problem since we installed it and handed it over to the staff in exams." Robert
Moir "Shout it loud and shout it long RM SecureNet (excuse me for shouting) without a shadow of a doubt, a breeze to set up as a package and a breeze for our non IT oriented exam admin officer to use." Tim
Briggs "We use Securenet here with no problems. From my recollection, (into the dim and distant past) all we had to do was set a securenet user up that could save desktop changes. RM were very helpful in getting us up & running and as far as I know we're ready for this year's exam results with no expected problems." Name withheld "Without a doubt - RM SecureNet. No hassle, does exactly what it says on the tin...erm..box." Andy
Thorne "We moved from BT to RM SecureNet, the product is excellent and we have had no problems." Graham
Hubbard "We use Dailnet webXchange here. Only used it for the last couple of weeks. It's half the price of Dialnet Trader and is Internet based" Name withheld "We use Dialnet, The software works (my opinion is that it is not well written), tech support has always been helpful, most (all?) exam boards will accept electronic entries from Dialnet." Julian
Hill "Yep, second all of that, changed from Dialnet to RM and its been a breeze ever since. Only thing I've had to do recently is explain in simple terms to the exam officer what RMs latest communication was all about! "before you start exam read carefully through the paper" comes to mind, it really wasn't that difficult to understand." Name withheld "Has to be RM SecureNet. No Contest." Steve
Newman "Strongly recommend RM SecureNet. Easy to install and builds into a package with no problems." Ian
